Garden slide buying guide: safety and quality

Check safety information first

A children’s slide should have clear technical documentation, a stated load limit and assembly instructions. Choose products tested to an appropriate European standard and supplied by a seller who can provide product and manufacturer information.

Inspect the material and construction

Outdoor plastic should be resistant to UV radiation and changing temperatures. Edges must be smooth, fixing points secure and the landing section free from cracks or sharp elements. If the slide is combined with a wooden or metal platform, the complete structure must remain stable during use.

  • measure the platform and landing zone;
  • use the recommended screws and anchors;
  • check connections regularly during the season;
  • clean the slide with products suitable for its material;
  • stop using it if any structural damage appears.

Our garden slides include dimensions and installation parameters to make comparison easier.
